Joy graduated from Paris ll Hair Academy in her home town of Gladstone, Missouri. She’s had advanced training in razor cutting bob haircuts and highlighting/balayaging techniques. Outside of completing hair school, Joy has received her certification for brazilian blowout treatment, keratin smoothing treatment and has attended numerous workshops and classes. She specializes in perms and curly hair but also enjoy promoting and maintaining the healthy of hair. “My mantra is: healthy hair is pretty hair.” Joy enjoys achieving hair that fits the client’s lifestyle.
Joy’s hobbies include playing pool/billiards, cooking for family and friends, and taking care of her plants.
Fun fact: “I’m naturally good at badminton and catching the shrimp at a Japanese steakhouse!”
