Connie Suss and Mary Jane Van de Castle founded bijin salon & spa in 1988. They continue to provide master styling skills for their clients as well as dedicating their time and talents to the pursuit of WOW for the bijin team. Realizing they were only as good as those around them, Connie and Mary Jane have assembled a fabulous team to work with them in carrying out the vision.

Chloe Brock is one of bijin’s Master Stylists whose focus is on precision hair cutting. Chloe is a graduate of Santa Monica’s prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy. Chloe has trained with Jill Leitz, Oscar Bond and Justin Isaac. She worked at Planet Hair and BOBS in Los Angeles before locating to bijin 2000.
Amy Brewer is a Master Stylist and has been with bijin since 1999. Amy has trained with renowned artists Sam Villa, Justin Isaac, Daniel Dowd, Oscar Bond, Jill Leitz and Kris Sorbee as well as attending advanced education at the Redken Exchange and Bumble and bumble University in New York.
Nani Thelin has been with bijin since 2000. She is talented in all areas of hair design. Her hair styles and event up-dos have been featured in KC Weddings magazine, as well as on model runways in the fashion shows she has designed. Nani is a certified Network Educator through Bumble and bumble University
Brandi Stull is a third generation hairstylist who enjoys doing all kinds of hair from dimensional color to keratin complex services. Brandi also excels in designing up-dos, long layers and bobs of any kind. Brandi’s education is vast with experience at Bumble and bumble University, American Crew and Redken. She has trained with Luigi Murenu, Sam Villa, Justin Isaac, Daniel Dowd, Jill Leitz and Kris Sorbee.
Mandy Brooks experience and skills focus on all types of color services, including dimensional color application. She has advanced training in coloring techniques from Justin Isaac, Redken and Bumble and bumble. She is certified from Profound Beauty and has taken advanced haircutting courses from Oscar Bond, Sam Villa and Vaughn Accord.
